Welcome to Mrs. Barta's 4th Grade Learning Site!

I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! I have been a teacher or specialist at GRE for the past twelve years, and I have 37 total years in education. I look forward to working as a team to be sure that your child has the best and most tailored learning experience possible.

I have lived in Colorado for 31 years after being raised in North Dakota. My husband was also a Douglas County teacher but is now retired. Our boys were both students at Gold Rush and graduated from Legend High School. Ryan is in the working world and figuring out the world of adulthood! Lucas is a student at CU Denver and is majoring in Film and Television Studies.

Some things that are very important to me:
